Battery Combo Question

I was recently thinking of sticking an a14 on a C2. I think that would give me 4 CR123 cell spaces or 2 x17670 or 18650 spots on a bored host and extension. Will this work out correctly? I am just trying to use what I have.

Yes, I think, for the 4 123 or 2 17670 - but the C2 would have to be bored for the 18650......someone with much more knowledge than I will surely join in the conversation!

There's a length problem here. For simplicity, lets convert everything to approx mm:

C3 = 100
C2 = 65
A14 = 50
A19 = 34

The length you're after is 130mm. This will house 2 18650's or 4 123's

A14's are 1.5x a 123 cell. A C2 + A14 gives you a C3.5, about 115m.

You've got a few options:

A C3 + A19 gives you 130mm

A C2 + A19 + A19 gives you 130mm

A C2 + [mythical 2 cell SF extender] would give you 130mm

A C2 + A14 + ZeroRez Shorty (+15mm) in your tailcap gives you 130mm
