Found this in an old reflector assembly. Don't know what
kind of flashlight it was from. Looks like a regular reflector from
any standard flashlight. Metal with a screw in plastic sleeve
plug to hold bulb.

Bulb is a PR style base with straight sided globe with lens at tip.
Globe diameter is slightly smaller than the base diameter.
Globe length looks same length as base.

Marked "KSA-3 USA" stamped into base.

Found 3 adjustment washers between bulb and reflector.

Any Idea as to what this is????

Made for Mag-Lites.

Actually manufactured by Carley, before production shifted to Mexico.

The " 3 " indicates it's for 3-cell flashlights.

KS denotes Krypton Star

They would often include several of those thin round shims in each package,
so that you could "adjust the focus" of this lens-end bulb, when using it in something besides
the Mag-Lite. Not needed, of course, in any "adjustable focus" flashlight.

Hope this helps.

Probably the standard Mag "White Star" bulb, so I'd say yes. The MagnumStar is an improved version, though.
