Hi everyone , EDIT: Quad SST-90 added!

Here are the specs on my latest.

4D Mag host/ Big aluminum head.
Custom aluminum heat sink
7 x Cree XR-E emitters
7 x Mop reflectors
Maxflex driver ( user programmable) currently set to 5 mode. Drive current is 1300ma per LED.
Hard coat acrylic lens 95% light transmittance
Powered by 4 x 26650s ( Not Included)

Here are a few beam shots. First is Quark AA2 ( yeah I know apples and oranges, but it'll work for a control shot).

This light is more than just bright. Generally multi emitter lights can be short on throw, but not this one. The XREs in combination with the narrow reflectors are very far reaching.

That little white blip at the end of the tunnel is my truck at 160 yards away.

Price is $225>$195>$175 Shipped!SOLD

Now also available is one of these with a quad SST-90 Light engine.

Spec
Black 4D mag
3" head
Massive aluminum heat sink
4 Top bin SST-90 emitters
4 SMO P60 reflectors
EDIT: I have replaced the HCA lens with a heat treated camera lens. This to me seem better than any flashlight lens. It solid smooth and very clear.

This light is direct drive on 4x 26650s ( Not included).

Each emitter is soldered directly to a 3/16" copper slug.

Which are then attached to this gargantuan heat sink that transfers heat both to the head and neck of the light.

So what shall we compare this to for a control shot? How about 100 watts of halogen from the high beams of my truck head lights.

Now the Quad SST-90

Price is $325>$295>$275 Shipped!SOLD

This and your xml lights are truely drool worthy, I'm just not in a position to spend that kind of $$ or I would. Good luck!

With an seeming unending parade of multi XM-L lights out there, (As much as I like them!) it's good to see this build! Impressive light saber!

Re: FS: 7 XRE Big Head Mag.

Thanks Quest. I think with the nearly saturated XML market and the lack of a "new release" ( ie a yet higher bin or different emitter) that we are so accustomed to, we may see a refreshing re-visitation of things past. There are still so many good things out there besides the current hot button it just takes people getting their fill of said button for attention to be given to them.
