H600 owners... battery issues? Help me out here.

I posted this the other day but it never appeared so I figured I'd try again.

Anyone have a list of what new and higher capacity batteries will work in the H600? I had hoped they would accept larger batteries than my H60 but apparently not. I am STILL having to use my old (4 to 5 years old) Tenergy cells. Even my newer Tenergy cells won't fit. Tried my Eagletac 2400s and they won't fit either. Length is not the issue. They are too wide. Ironically enough, I tried the Eagletac that fits in my H60 (too long in it but not too wide) and it too is too wide to fit into the barrel.

So, anyone running this light have some battery suggestions? I'd like to order some that will fit as I hope to also get the H602 when it comes out and figure the battery compartment will likely be the same size as the 600.

Trustfire3000mAh protected is too long.
Sanyo 2600mAh, NCR18650 both fit and work fine

Hope this helps

Those are the only two types of 18650 batteries I own and both work in the H600.

I was told that Solarforce 2400s and Panasonic 2400s work.

Can anyone please recommend a cell likely to fit in the H600 that is a good compromise between quality and cost?

Or, could you tell me which of these (mentioned in the previous posts) is a good compromise?:
AW 2900
AW 2600
AW 2200
Solarforce 2400
Sanyo 2600
NCR18650
Redilast 3100

Thanks!!

P.S. Any recommendations on a cheap but good charger would also be welcome.

Callie's Kustoms 3100mAh fit, but snugly...I have to "thump" the light a few times to get the battery started coming out. I believe there are 2 versions of these batteries, an older thicker label version and a newer, thinner label version. I ordered mine on Black Friday, so I believe I got the newer, thinner label version. YMMV.

I've only used AW brand Li-ions, so no suggestions on other 18650's.

You can get a good inexpensive ($19) charger at 4sevens called the cytac dual bay charger. I've used it for 3 years, and always check my batteries before & after charging using a multi-meter. The charger has never misbehaved - stays cool, cuts off at or below 4.2v, and have used it to charge my 18650's, 17670's, 14500's, RCR123's, & 10440's.

Bumping Jacks question on the AW3100s?

Im needing to order a couple high quality batts and am wanting to use the AW 3100s, rather than the 2900s.
I see Varuscelli is using the redilast 3100s, are they not the "same" battery?

Just wanting to maximize my use of the 420lm High mode.
