it seems the 2 cpu's i threw out this year (were broken) were still authorized on my itunes account. in the itunes menu there is a choice to deauthorize the current computer i'm on....but i can't deauthorize the 2 cpu's i dont have any more.

anyone have a solution for me? i'm at my limit of 5 authorizations.

thanks...............Bill

Go into your itunes account page, and there is a button to deauthorize all computers. Then authorize the computers you use again. You can only de-authorize all only so often.

That's correct. You can deuthorise all of your systems once a year. I quite often find myself running out of authorisations as HDD's fail and systems are replaced and whatnot. I've "deauthorised all" 3 out of the last 4 years...
