well, there aren't a whole lot tight focus leds

the tightest i own is the ultrastinger.

Actually, the Impact, Impact 2, Palight, and the "Shakelight" (Nightstar) are all tightly focused LED lights.... but my Vector Spotlight is probably my brightest and tightest focus incandescent light.

For fixed focus it would be the SL6 and adjustable would be a 2C Mag that came with a Chevy truck I bought many years ago.

any maglite w/ a magnum star xenon bulb. that thing is about 1' wide across the street and doesnt get much bigger. it is so tight in fact, that it is almost useless for lighting purposes. yes, it can be adjusted but the flood on it is actually worse than the regular halogen.

My 6AA powered M!glite 2D with M!gnum Star 5D bulb. Tighter than my US and throws farther.

Brightnorm, the battery carrier was modded by Electrolumens. Haven't did a run time test yet. Didn't want it to go to waste. Sometime in the near future I want to see if any of the forums reviewers want to do a runtime/output test.

What\'s your tightest beam light?

Size doesn't really matter...and it can be either a fixed focus or adjustable focus light. My tightest fixed focus light has to be a Browning 14MM Ballistic light (Pel StealthLite clone). My tightest focus for an adjustable focus light is easily a 2D lime green *ag with an Eveready 2D halogen bulb. This thing focuses so tight that at a distance of about 150 feet, the spot is only about 1 foot wide. I seldom use any of the *ag products I own, but I really like the lime green color of this one, and when I wanna go in the back yard and play "light sabre", this is usually the light I grab. I don't know how many of you actually use the Eveready halogen bulbs, but for the price they're pretty good bulbs. They focus nicely, and they're pretty bright!

so far the light with the tightest focus i have is a black maglite 3d with its default bulb.
