TN30 XM-L / XM-L2 Beamshots

Just a couple of shots comparing both TN30's on Level 6, to me the XM-L2 is slightly warmer than the XM-L but not much difference in output considering they are 600 lumens apart.

I like the scenery. One issue is that to compare flooders, you need a wider area, as other wise, much of the added light is not able to be evaluated....the eye goes to the trees at the bend in the canal/stream...which are too close to flex the range the light does have enough to see as much difference. It does appear brighter at least, but, a field with some small shrubs as makers, etc, might have been more appropriate if trying to really do a comparison.

The hard part on beam shots IS finding good spots though.

Did you shoot all the pics on the same ISO/Shutter/Fstop setting, or on auto?

You're right, maybe not the best location but it was the only location I could find that had somewhere elevated to rest my torch on whilst the pic was taken.

Both pics had the same settings, f8 iso400.
