After spending a loooong time searching for an european dealer who would carry the Eagletac G25C2 MKII in neutral white, I finally found one! I dare say that I had to endure even another week for the light to arrive after I had bought it.

I hadn't had the chance to play a lot with it. Still the color rendition is very nice. This is my first flashlight in neutral white. A few weeks ago I bought a DBS pill in warm white. I find the DBS a little too warm even outside. Now for the Eagletac.. I can't say the same. I enjoyed this tint very much. I think I'm done with the cool white...for now at least.

I have to do some more extensive testing but so far so good (knock on wood).
Feel free to share your experience with yours or to comment on anything.

BTW: does anyone know if the extenders from the previous model (MK I) will work with this model?

I'll tell you a secret about this light you probably did not know. Most lights have the Turbo mode as an unregulated direct drive that does not maintain brightness because of battery sag. The G25MKII actually has current regulation for constant brightness even on the Turbo mode. So essentially you are getting the full 850 lumens for a full 30 minutes. You can even completely disable the 200 second Turbo stepdown. Here is a chart Selfbuilt made showing this result. I have not seen any other light yet that has current regulation for constant brightness on the Turbo setting.

Here is what Eagletac says : "Low dropout voltage, enable circuit to current regulate for most of the runtime at turbo output."

The new Eagletac TX25C2, which I have, also has the same feature.

It's a very cool thing... I'm using an AW 2600. I first tried 2*RCR123 but the flashlight didn't like it very much and on Turbo it was turning off after some time. This time (measured in seconds) was changing constantly. I don't have a way to measure the battery capacity but they don't have that many cycles on them. I even thought the light was defective. Only then when I tried the 18650 I realized everything was ok :)
I am enjoying it very much so far, specially in NW.
