I noticed my flashlights are including spare O-Rings. This sort of hints that these either wear out or fail at some point. My TK-75 came greased on both the threads and O-Rings with a generous portion. My PD-32 U not so much. What can I put on the threads and O-Rings to keep them going strong?

Use lubricant. And replace the O-rings after a year or three. They're a service part, and protect the light best when they're in good shape.

Thanks for the link, I see this has been covered many many times in the last 10 years or so. I'll read it all and make a decision.

There's also a sticky at the top of this very forum related to the topic that's well worth the read. It's where I got a bit of my info when I first started up around here.
