Cyclops Thor colossus (WIP hid mod)

Just recieved my brand new cyclops Thor colossus. It's a lot bigger than I thought.:huh: But I am planning on modding this spotlight. I will most likely be using a 35 watt hid 4300k with ballast from an older ryobi spotlight. Before I mod it though I will probably take some reference shots at night of the stock 130watt halogen. It has a lead acid battery and The light is charging at this moment but wont be ready to light up until around 1 am.:ironic: Will post some size pics ASAP. And later tonight maybe some beam shots before the mod:naughty:. Anyways let me know what you think. edit: I am having some trouble posting pics directly so i am just using links to my flickr posts for now until i can get the pics to post.

Hello again. I have successfully modded the cyclops Thor colossus to hid! Unfortunately it's not to much brighter than the halogen.:duh2: The hid 35 watt I have looks very nice and lights up low clouds. I just need to get a brighter hid and get a better focus.:ironic: Unfortunately I can't take any beam pics as its raining here. As soon as I can i will post beam pics.
