Flashaholic Holiday is 6-1/2 Months Away...

Yup. Halloween is just 6-1/2 months away. Maybe it's a little early, but I figured a few months in advance would give even the DX and Manafont shoppers enough time to get their orders. I love Halloween - it's my favorite holiday - and not just because my family and I all get to light up the neighborhood. Although I rarely watch the show, my daughter suggested I dress up like Merle from The Walking Dead, so I made a replica of his bayonet arm with an old Garand bayonet (dulled, of course).

So... whatchya gonna be carrying? Anybody dressing up?

Back during my pre flashaholic years, I used to have an FRS transceiver on scan during halloween. Now the only ones who use FRS around here are tradesmen. The average consumer uses cell phones now (prepaid phones for the kids) but back in the early to mid 2000s many more people used FRS.

Of course back when I actually observed halloween; I would have either a Garrity Mini Rugged Lite or a turquoise Eveready 3251 (1990s version.)
