Durabeam info

Hi, is anyone familiar with this old Durabeam flashlight? Can't recall exactly when I bought this but I think it
was around 1976. I've found lots of info/photos of the newer Durabeam flashlights ....the black and copper
colored ones....but haven't found any info on this one I have.

I had two of those back around 1979. They were used as nightstand lights.

Do you know if these were available in any colors other than yellow ?

I'm wondering if this is the predecessor to the newer black/gold Durabeam flashlights.
I purchased this light because it was highly rated as the best light for backpacking.

Mine were both yellow. I think they all were. And yes, these were out before the black/gold Durabeam model. I still have one of those.
