Thrunite sent me one of their new V5's to try out. They told me it is a super tough light designed with self defense in mind as its shaped like a club and built super tough and suggested that I try and beat it up, so to speak. So here is my review of the light with some torture tests thrown in. I'll say its a great light and I could see how it might be handy to have next to the bed as a club. Its a super thrower with its 1500 lumen output and although in the end I killed the light (RIP) I'll definitely vouch for how tough it is. And, hey, if you ever get caught in a fire fight its good to know that your light can take a round for you.
