I recently got a TLE-5EX drop-in upgrade kit for the mini.
Unfortunatelly (BAH) my mini is an odd generation Luxeon/early Rebel Mini-MagLED (pictured in the middle)

The replacement seems to be designed to work with the mini generation on the left.
Is there hope to fit it into my mini? Should I even bother to remove the module as per http://manjoseman.typepad.com/uncon...m-mini-maglite-led-2-cell-old-style-hack.html
