McGizmo Haiku light engine in a Tain Nova Ti 16340 head?

I have a single speed (~300 lumen) Haiku and I just received a Tain Nova Ti 16340. I thought that since the Haiku head fits on the Tain body, maybe the Haiku's light engine might, just might, screw into the Tain head. Lo and behold, it does, albeit just a little shorter than the Nova Ti light engine! A little bit of bezel adjusting, sans material modifications, and I now have a single speed Nova Ti thrower. :)

Ok then. Gonna try this one tomorrow. Thanks. So, whats up with the color & finish? Looks like a bead blasted ano going on. Looks nice.

Thank you! I disassembled the Nova, sandblasted, heat-colored and stonewashed it.
