I handled one of these over the weekend.
Claims are 1500 lumens at about 9'.
1.5" square, designed mainly to be a photography light but can be used for anything really.
Can be remotely controlled with your phone.
Waterproof to 100'
It runs off a small LiPo battery.
20 minutes runtime at full power improving if cooled eg. under water, up to an hour or more at lower power.

What do you guys think?

This looks like a great item to have along with your cell phone camera. However, for 80$, there should be more competition.

They are only shipping to their Kickstarter funders at this stage. I had a meeting with someone who had one of them.
It really is well made at appears to have a multitude of uses.
The standard app. can control 2 of them at a time and the pro app. can control many more. Allows you to set up a whole lighting scene using fixed lighting rather than an flash or video light.
It sounds like some folks have used them as bike lights. Reducing power a little and the flow of air over the light allows for a longer run time.

I'm skeptical based on the claims that runtime will increase if the light is cooled..

Increased output should be possible if the light is cooled; thus reducing runtime...
