LensLight clip question

I have seen both plastic and metal clips used on various LensLights ....

Does anyone know if these types are interchangeable ?

I have a Mini on the way, but prefer a metal clip (or even no clip) , if possible.

Any details about removing / replacing / purchasing / interchanging clips would be much appreciated. Thanks !

I have a 4 or 5 year-old Lenslight mini with the Delrin plastic clip. It is secured with a screw. I forget exactly what type... either hex or star.

I've seen people run Prometheus Ti surefire clips...

For the Mini (1x123): The delrin clip uses a counter sunk flat head, 0.050" hex drive screw. The rare Ti clip use a regular button head screw. The clips are interchangeable.
For the KO (2x123) and the 3x123, they both use the same clip.
When adding the Ti Prometheus clip, you have to be pretty careful with taking off the end cap because sometimes they use RED (271) Loctite, that one's a challenge to remove w/o mucking up the finish.
