You can perform a Zener mod with the same driver. This mod can only be used with 6v emitter's and requires using 2 li ion cells(8.4v) as this mod bucks emitter voltage to 6v.
Undecided as of yet. Just planning the build so weighing up options.
What would people recommend for an L2?
Well I guess if I keep it as a 2 cell arrangement then I will be looking at 6V emitters. At the moment I've only got single 18650 stuff so the jump to dual 26650 is a bit daunting. What sort of emitter driver combo would people recommend for a 6v setup?
