Just a quick question while we've been on the subject of batteries of late. Is the internal resistance less on an Energizer lithium vs. the Titanium/Ultra? I know from what's already been said on the subject so far that the internal resistance in the Titaniums is less than a normal alkaline, but how does it compare with Lithiums? Is that one of the keys of why a lithium performs so much better than a normal alkaline? Hmm… Something new to ponder.

The internal resistance of the Lithiums is still much better than the one of a Energizer Titanium or Duracell Ultra. These little black holes are capable of delivering 1.4 Amps without dropping down to less than 1.3/1.2 V.

Phantomas2002: Thanks for the info. Another of life's little flashlight mysteries answered. Now that's one less thing to keep me awake at nights. LOL.
