This has a very narrow 3.7 degree beam angle so I'm wondering how much of a "pencil" beam it has, with minimal corona.

Eagletac is known for using the same reflector within each series, so, since your looking at xpl hi you could probably Google search beamshot images of other S series lights. Just make sure its xpl your looking at. I do this with the P, T, G series that I favor since Eagletac has pretty much dissappeared on here.

Be aware, even in main reflector mode with the diffuser off, light will bleed into the diffuser. To correct this on the P25l2d series they made a ring that blocks the light from bleeding back.
