Batwing, LXHL-MW1C, Q-Bin: Whats the Quality?

Can anyone tell me if the Batwing, LXHL-MW1C, Q-Bin has a pretty good brightness. I am ordering it to put it into a SL Luxeon 3AA. It currently has a LHXL-MWEC [Pwokw] What kind of difference will it make. Thanks Irv

Q bin is good brightness. I can't comment on the batwing/lowdomes. I tend to stay away from them as the method of phosphur ends up in not being as pure overall white color. The edges will have a yellow tint, or middle a blue/purple tint as there's no way to balance both perfectly. The lambertain Highdomes use a different method and it is all even. I think you get a tighter beam with a HD anyways. A lot of people have put LuxIII's in those SL's.

But if you go with the LD you'll have a leap in brightness and it will be better none the less. Just not ultamite.. my 2 cents
