usually I can quickly tell apart by white-walling just from the tint itself, but in this instance, it's so closely resembles the incandescent that it even imitate the "flaw" in the incandescent tint itself... OMG!
I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality of the tint. I was expecting an amberish tint like the older XR-E, but this newer LC-1 is using a different LED (XP-E2?) and the tint is superb!!!

I used alcohol swap to clean off some factory dirt, and it wiped off the yellow background color of the label.
using it with the Solarforce L2M host...
oh, I tested this drop in in my lightbox and it outputs ~160 lumens with a single 18350 and ~200 lumens with 2x18350. Don't use these with 3V primary, it doesn't work... even though the label says 3V-18V...
and a pic comparing my old L2M with newer L2M, I kinda like the matte anodized on the new one...
now, if only this LED is sitting in a Malkoff M60 drop-in...
