Newly Enlightened
I've never 'built' a flashlight before. I normally just grabbed a stock ones off the shelf, so this is all new to me.
I've decided to upgrade to a bored surefire 6p body (for 18650 cells), with surefire clicky switch, bezel and use a Lumens Factory "D26-LED Mil-Spec LED Module, 2.7V-4.5V (Single Battery Setups, 1 Mode)" drop-in.
My questions is:
The specs on the D26-LED say that it has 'over-discharge protection'. Does this mean that I do not have to run protected cells to prevent running the battery too low and damaging it?
Thanks!
