I don't recall hearing anything on the street about it, so I thought I'd give it a (non-promotional) 'heads up' mention, as I know there are several people who hang out around here who have some interest in the product.

I can't speak to the accuracy of this info, but those who may have an interest should check the manufacturer's web site for details from the source, as the product page(s) and data sheet have been updated to reflect the revised model.

The things which jumped out at me on a quick scan were:
- Enhanced (some may say 'proper') 16340 support
- Constant-current regulation
- Thermal regulation
- Configurable lower 'low' and 'very low' output levels (down to .5L)
- Configurable / user-defined power-on output level for Group 1 (which it appears replaces the previous 'last-state power-on' output level for Group 1)
- Several(?) (apparently-)new internal design features
- Increased max output spec (spec'd for "XM-L2 U4 (CW), and XM-L2 U2 (NW)"
I can't speak to the accuracy of this info, but those who may have an interest should check the manufacturer's web site for details from the source, as the product page(s) and data sheet have been updated to reflect the revised model.
