Bayco & Streamlight Flashlights

Is there a connection between these two companies? The Streamlight Protac L1-1AA and the Night Stick Mini-TAC Pro MT-210 look very similar. There are plenty of differences but the external specs are really close. Any ideas?

Bayco is a company like Streamlight that make niche lighting for specialized tasks. They are commonly called "Night Stick" so many don't even know Night Stick is just a model by Bayco.
A long time ago SureFire got their name after customers kept asking for their "Sure Fire" flashlight not realizing the company name was Laser Products.

Until looking for the answer to the question I had always thought Night Stick was a flashlight company so, thanks for helping me learn that. My intrinsically safe "night stick" does not have the word Bayco anywhere on it. Nor did the packaging.

I suppose it would be akin to Dodge trucks being owned by the Chrysler Corparation.
