These tailcap hosts have been sold on eB for some time now, but now that I'm able to post freely in B/S/T I've decided to try my luck here......
Highlights and modifications:
- MY2017-2018 stock
- Machined from standard grade rod aluminum
- Completely stripped of stock HAII grey and reanodized in HAIII hard black
- Shrouded design allows for effective tail stand operation
- Features lanyard attachment holes for simple lanyard attachment
- Designed and produced based on Surefire flashlight system specs
- Anodization administered by reputable metal plating facility in NorCal (South Bay)
- Aftermarket reanodization approved and verified by Lumens Factory
- All tailcap hosts personally rechecked for QC assurance
- Only TEN available
Compatible with most Surefire-spec C-tailed flashlight setups. NOTE:
a. May not work with C-tail with two o-rings (depending on individual setups) installed. In case of switch failure, remove o-ring from outer groove and retain o-ring from inner groove;
b. When using in conjunction with step-down Delrin battery sleeve (eg. 18650 to 2xCR123a) in 18mm-bored body, sleeve may need to be reversed (ie. sleeve's opening facing upwards) to ensure light operability
Tailcap host accepts most switch internals including
a. Z41 McClicky switch upgrade (up to ~5.6A)
b. Z41 stock twisty (jam nut/rivet may need to be replaced) (up to ~6A)
c. Oveready ZeroRes Twisty/Shorty/Mounty (10A or above; discontinued)
d. AW soft start (for incandescent) with type B mount (up to ~10A; discontinued)

- Add $22 for one set of Z41 McClicky switch upgrade (w/med press boot, brass or copper retainer ring, boot centering o-ring)
