I had Thunderbird about a week ago. It wouldn't do everything I required.

Especially, it wanted to send everything out with the same return address. And we have two users on the same ISP.

Maybe someday. But right now I gotta keep fighting OE.

I never figured out how to get T'bird to sort my incoming mail into seperate folders....normally I have 10-12 mail folders. I went back to OE.

no teething problems what so ever. I've using Thunderbird as my main mail client since the very first beta aprox. 1.5 years ago.

Very stable product. has never crashed or given any hint of a problem ever.

spam filter is the best in the business. very solid product. as good or better than any paid for product, only free.

heh...i have a copy (not the 1.0 version) waiting in the wings.
i really do not use any special things with e-mail...just open, read, discard, etc.

but, if it is as good as firefox, i am all in.
heck, it should be very easy to set up, and if i do not like it, easy to go back, right?
