Where to buy bare Li-ion 14500 and 18650 batts?

Hi,

Could someone with Li-ion experience detail what the "best" batteries are in 14500 and 18650 size? I want to use them for flashlights only. Also, where can they be purchased at a good total cost (ie. not get ripped on S&H!)

You can also find some 18650's with 2.4 Ah capacity here , as well as other sizes and chargers.

Usually, charging cells safely is a much larger challenge than obtaining the cells. I suggest that you carefully study the posts in this forum and in the R/ C airplane forums before investing in this area.

I really like the 18650 concept, but I have not found an easy way to make charging "wife and kids safe".
