18650 / 21700 / 26650 ... what size of Li-Ion Batt to "keep"?

Ya it's definitely not an edc light. That's what cr123s and AA is for

18650/17670/17500 and more recently 16650 is what I've always used. I've never seen a reason to go up in size from there. I've never used 14500's that I can remember, but they are a size I would get into if I had more AA sized lights.

The 21700 seems to be the compromise. I personally like 18650 lights as EDC and lights that can use both as in with a sleeve.
So in conclusion 18650 for in the pocket out and about. 21700 for in a drawer around the property in a glovebox/tool box when size isn't a hindrance.
Honestly never seen a 26650.
Seems most lights these days are 21700 or smaller.

Depends on the light too. Left is 21700. Right is 18650. They feel about the same in the pocket

You are probably correct. And I don't know what thread or who it was that turned me on to these Wurkkos lights but i love my WK03 and look forward to the FC13 that should arrive this week.
Not the highest lume but actually my heavy lume lights are not for EDC but for mostly entertainment purposes of which they serve me well.

2000-3500- lumens is a lot. Lol. I know there's real barn burners out there but the way you described it, I figured it was a 200L light

Bezel diameter is another issue. A narrow bezel on a 21700 light is just going to be more comfortable to EDC than a wide bezel 18650 light.
