I have a 2D Maglight [dark blue body] mod that has a 3 watt white LED [in the bluish/violet range], sitting on an O-Sink, with UCL lens, runs direct on 3 C batteries. Very bright, my best thrower! Withdrawn.

What is the rutime on a set of batteries? Can it use rechargeables? Thanks

Re: FS: 2D Maglite with 3 watt LED, O-sink, UCL $57

I haven't done any runtime tests on it, so unfortunately, I can't answer that. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Also, I don't know if rechargeables would damage the LED. It has no resistance. I just use alkalines.

Wow that's a really, really good deal
Why isn't somebody jumping on this yet? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
Rechargeble (NiMh & NiCd) will give you more light & less of the 10,000hr life.

That does sound like a great deal. I just bought a 3D version of the same thing and runtime is suppose to be 40 hours. If that helps answer the previous question. Maybe a picture of the light or beamshot would help-u-sell it faster.

The body of this flashlight has a few scuff marks on it. Still a decent looking light.

Still available. I can email pictures if you want to see the scuff marks as well as the "handy work". I put that in quotes because it's not as clean as some modders in soldering skills, but not as expensive either, and it lights up well.

Re:FS: 2D Maglite with 3 watt LED, O-sink,UCL $57

Well, 3rd Shift Lights, if it had been done to your expertise, I'm sure it WOULD have sold [at that price] by now. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif Like I said, doesn't look the best, but it functions fine.

I've been using the CPF image page, but it has exceeded it's bandwidth, so that's why I've been unable to post them here. And as you can see, my avatar isn't working either. I hope the problem gets resolved over there soon. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/au.gif
