If you don't need the waterproof feature you can buy the water resistant biking version for less dough. I paid around $60 for mine.

Hmm... i have not found any Niterider bike or outdoor light with 4W and 13 hours burntime. Most of those 4W lights have 5 hours burntime, so which light are you refering to??

Well the one I have has the same alkaline battery pack as shown but with a push in conecter to the light unit. The dive version has a waterproof screw on connecter.
It originally came with a 10W bulb but I put a 5W in for longer burn time.

I couldn't find it on their web site but maybe they don't market this product any more. I know you can still buy all the parts separatly. I might be willing to sell mine I never use it anymore, I'll have to think about it.
