Give me time, give me time
I ride my recumbent bike to work and am presently converting the lighting to LS LEDs (BB500 LS for the helmet, 18 red LED flasher on the back and <hopefully> a 5w side emitter in a Maglight for the frame) The Hokeys will be mounted on the rear wheel as my final mod. I want to be a Christmas tree when it comes down to LEDs lighting my way.

I am also a bent rider, pedling across the US last summer. What model recumbent do you have (I ride a Rans V-Rex)? What type of 5W mod are you thinking about for the bike. I am thinking that several 5 watters may be necessary for safe riding. Hard to think that these LEDs could be a substitute for my Cateye HID. If you come up with a good bike mod, I may be interested in also aquiring one.!!
