It's been used, but not overly abused. It does have a flakey switch. The light works fine, but the switch sometimes will not click/lock in place.

Having a senior moment ..... is this the Brinkmann 1AAA host?

If so, all you have to do is call Brinkmann and they'll send you a new switch.

The clickie tailswitch on the Micro illuminator is easy to service, also.
