Coast Guard Swimmer looking for flashlights

President Bush talking with the Coast Guard swimmer who is going out at night looking for those who are stranded. The swimmer said when he sees flashlights it looks likes stars in the sky.

News reporters also reported this is how people are being found at night.

I suppose even a 1led (dorcyaaa) light would suffice.

It certainly would be proper for LED's (Dorcy aaa's or key chain lights) to be handed out in mass quantities along w/the other supplies.

One of those floating strobe lights would be nice to have in a situation like that. The flashing means more battery life compared to constant on, and it's more attention getting since it's a changing element in the environment...hence easier to pick out.
