Another Pentagon Light L2 Question

Has anybody tried putting the head on the single cell X1 body to see if the one cell will run the L2 head? It is only a Lux3 so shouldn't a single cell be able to run it. It would make for a nice competitor to the E1L only with a reflector instead of optics.

The X1 is 6P-sized, just with one-cell (3P?). Much larger than a E1L

The 3W head lights up on a 1-cell body, but it isn't in regulation. Maybe some work and some don't, like it is with the KL4.
