3W drop-in question...

Since this site has infected me and I now can not leave well enough alone I have to do something!

I have an "extra" SF 6P that I want to put the above mentioned 3W drop-in module in. I am wondering if there is a 2 stage tailcap that I can get that would allow high and low output?

The Sandwich Shoppe sells a two stage kit. Look for McE2s and the "classic" parts. Those parts are used in the existing tailcap.

I got my drop-in and instead of the above 6P I put into a G2. Will the McC2S Classic 2-Stage Switch Kit from the Sandwich Shoppe work in a G2 as well as a 6p?

Probably depends if your G2 has the LOTC. If not, you would need an additional tailcap.

Bummer, it's an older one with out the LOTC. Does that mean the switch would not work on a 6P without a LOTC either?
