Hello,

Our Pastor is a Reserve Navy Chaplain and has deployed with his
Marine battalion to Iraq. Our church and local schools have just started
sending regular care packages to the unit. Several twelve packs of SF123 batteries
have been sent as well as KL1 on an L4 body and a few SF G2's.

Would anyone else like to donate any lights or batteries for the
Marines and Sailors?

I am open to suggestions as to the most appropriate way to put this
together. Our Lutheran church is paying for the shipping and volunteers
will package the items up and fill out the paperwork.

Please post or PM your suggestions, comments or questions.
Thank you for any assistance or advice that you can offer.

:thanks: :grouphug:

Re: Flashlights to Camp Fallujah?

You might want to check the top of the general forum. The following threads there are about lights and Iraq:

Sticky Thread Sticky: Operation Enlightenment III
Sticky Thread Sticky: IRAQ/Military Deployment lights

I'm going to close this thread and refer all to the two stickies that John N has referenced. Trying to keep them all together as well as we can! Lux, feel free to continue this thread over there. Thanks!

Both threads are in the "General Flashlight Discussion Forum" here and here.
