Since 5 days i own a Caribbean and i must admit i simply love it! Perfect size for jeans pockets, great output, amazing regulation, tough finish... i don't know how i could live with my ugly, bulky Q3 until now.
Just to make sure: As far as i understood, there should be no problem with 3.7V LiIon rechargeables in this light, correct? Can i use unprotected cells without risk of damaging them?
Since i like the light so much, i now consider buying a 2AA body. Therefore i'm interested in runtime with AA alkalines and rechargeables.
Runtime with AA alkalines should be considerably longer than the 1:30 - 1:50 with CR123, shouldn't it?
Another thing i'd like to know is the overall output with NiMH rechargeables. Is 2.4 V enough for the regulation? Is it much dimmer than 3V?
Thanks!
