Well, a lot of knowledgable folks hang out in the Custom And Mod section. The LED section is mostly for off the shelf LED lights.

Edit - OK... how the heck did I reply to the question before it was asked?

Forum Question: Where to discuss custom LED mods?

I have a LOT of questions to ask about modding Incandescent flashlights to accept LED bulbs in the equivalent output range.

which forum should I post that it? I have a feeling I'll need the maximum possible concentration of knowledge, so I don't want to misspost.

If you have a specific question about a LED drop-in, I'd post it under the LED section.
If your question relates more to a custom drop-in you want to build, I'd go for the Custom & Modified section.

When in doubt, PM/e-mail a moderator as they have much more experience on sorting topics than I do.
