Hmm Interesting. Scott, I have a U2A P4 head cracked open. How difficult would it be to mod it? MCE vs something more aggressive in lumens?

Solscud, the reflector would need some modification to play nicely with an MC-E. There are other emitters that would entail less machining though. We can talk when you get here, or give me a call if you wish.

I would say I had the pleasure of having lunch today with Solscud007, but all we really did was stand in the parking lot and talk about and check out lights!!! :twothumbs One heckuva collection of Surefires, Solscud! I'm still going to try to make it to Milky's, I'll see if I can make it... We will have to do lunch again.

Yes, same here. scout24 has quite the collection of third party lights. his 007 and 005 are pretty impressive. Albeit WAY outside my budget haha. Im having a hard time coughing up $500 for a Titan let alone the money for a 005 or 007.

Definitely gotta go to Scott's, scout24, make something up haha.

Scott, I dont have your number cause my cell phone crapped out. pm me your number please.

Guys, don't forget to bring knives AND lights!

Personally I'm interested to see the G2X/6PX if anyone has one, and also the LX2. I'll bring a few Surefires, Malkoff drop-ins, Muyshondts and McGizmos. And a prototype of Kuku's 38DD, if I don't forget.

Anyone got a Spyderco Manix2 with CTS-XHP steel they could bring? Been thinking about buying or trading for one, and would like to see what it's like before I take the plunge.

Regarding LX2: I have one, but it's modified into an Elendil. :naughty:

I have a regular Manix 2 I can show you, but no CTS-XHP. Still, it should give you a good idea of what it's like.

Hey Scott,

My stock TigerLight arrived today...Love it!

I'm hoping you can work some magic on it in your labs that day.
I'll be bringing it along just in case

Ray

Ah! Glad you got ot OK, and that it'll see some use.

I'd love to come on the 6th but I really, really dislike driving these days... and I'd have to have someplace to crash overnight.

Scott, is the quarry still intact or did the developers get to it? That walk down there was great. :twothumbs

Yeah I dont have anything too exotic. Just surefire.

I have a G2X pro I can bring. Here is what i will bring, if I can remember it all.

G2X Pro
Surefire DIY ICE (milky modded internals)
L6 Porcupine clone
PK K2 PP (Porcupined PK Kroma)
twin U2
Turbo Kroma PKEF DARPA
E1D w/ kuku tower
A2 4 flats
Strider Knife w/ matching M2
Emerson Knife w matching C2 BKHA
Icon Rogue 1 PK
Icon Modus 1
Kroma Milspec
Surefire Saint
SF helmet light w/ helmet

Scoutlight w/ KM2 IR head
M900 w/ Seraph P7
M961XM
3BL w/ asp
6BL w/ asp
NVGs

Scott, not sure if you allow weapons but I have airsoft to demonstrate certain weapon lights like my SF M111D pistol light and Nerf as a stand in for AR-15. So if people are curious how weaponlights work on a weapon, I have safe standins so the operator can manipulate the weaponlight as it is intended.

I do have a Kriss Super V which is a real firearm, I can remove the bolt and magazine to keep it safe. But if anyone wants to see it with its built in E1B weapon mount, I can bring it. However I understand if you dont want me too. I just offer to show and tell. That is all.

Im sure there are other lights I am not thinking of at the moment but I will bring those too.

Is there any need for me to bring my small SF case? In case anyone wants to see one first hand?

Solscud007, unless you are some sort of LEO with connections in New Jersey, I would refrain from bringing any sort of firearm into the state, from Pa.

They are nowhere near as gun friendly as Pennsylvania is. ;)

Would be great to join in with you guys on this occasion. Unfortunately I'm not around your region nor heading towards USA at the moment. Perhaps in the not too distant future but will certainly look forward in tuning in to your gatherings and exciting event sharings that will certainly raise the eyebrows with the increased lumens participating...

One good reason we moved back in 04.

Seriously suggest you read this:

Rich

judge was not re appointed. Mother should never had called 911 on his son and say he was suicidal.
Nj could arrest you for an air soft gun. the knives you bring could be illegal. shining those flashlights can be morse code or signals to enemy combatants or aliens and predators.
Isn't jaywalking a crime in nj too?

I wouldn't even walk around NJ with a neon green super soaker! LoL
Good idea leaving that stuff at home.

No worries, there will be plenty of other goodies to keep us occupied :)

Scott,

I don't have the CTS-XHP model, but I do have a standard Manix 2 you can take a look at if you'd like to get a feel for the knife.

PS- If anyone has an LX2, a 6PX/G2X, a hi-CRI Clicky, or an A2L. From the knife front, if anyone has a ZT, a Military, or the new paramilitary, I'd enjoy taking at look at those guys.
