Another suggestion for this method is hairspray. A light coating will diffuse the light nicely.
Plus, if you put on too much, run it under way for a few seconds to rinse it away. Tip: let it air dry instead of wiping it, as wiping will scratch the delicate surface.

I would say that the solarforce is a good route for a drop in.

The 6P and most other surefires require a 17670. I highly recommend that route.
By de-doming, your tint will go towards a green tint as well. I had a dedomed xr-e a few years ago and that thing threw like crazy with the orange peel reflector.
The problem with dedoming is that it's not as durable.

I haven't tried the C cell Mag setups yet. I actually dont own a 2c or 3c anymore. I may offer something like that in the future, but at this time, I don't have a way to mock up a tube.
