    Cheaper than Dirt LED light

    Reviewed here http://ledmuseum.candlepower.us/ctd8.htm I have one in blue. No problems with mine. I use it as a "trasher" flashlight and it lives in the glove compartment of my car. I always see them sold at Flea markets. By the way, The tailcap fits on the Dorcy Metal Gear.

    Is this the Flashglight you're talking about? (Blue Flashlight on the left) I noticed the tail fits the Dorcy Metal Gear. It only grabs onto about 1/2 of the threads but it does fit, and the Hex pattern lines up when tightened. I got mine for $6.99

    Looks like they changed the prototype from 2004. I ran across this when I was trying to find out how much the tail switch will retail for (I still don't know) It looks like it's more compact then the old version. They don't have the tri color power level indicators either.
