My new E3P, 9 pics included

No, E3 and E3P are all rated 1.5V max, so only alkaline and Ni-CD/Ni-MH acceptable. Li-ions will burn the circuit at once.

My new E3P, 9 pics included

No holster, and neither the clip. That SS button is a cover for sure, the clickie module is the same as Jet 3 Military. I'vde disassembled it yesterday night.

My new E3P, 9 pics included

The clicky feels OK but you have to push it thru the center, or it may be locked. Well, disadvantages usually come with advantages, SS clickie looks great, but I have to admit that it's not as easy as normal clickie while using.:sigh: However, I still like this SS button!:p

Keychain...I think this light might be too big and too heavy to be a keychain light.:candle:

My new E3P, 9 pics included

Not at all. My previous AA lights had been all sold out so there is no one left. But you can compare the light with the standard AA alkaline battery, I took a picture with both of them.:twothumbs

    Does Nightcore use PWM?

I don't know what's your definition of PWM. Basically, there are two ways to turn a certain voltage into another. The one is called "Linear", and the other called "Switch". The way the first tech accomplishing the goal is to turn the unwanted energy into heat. For example, if you want to get...

My new E3P, 9 pics included

Yeah today I got my ordered Jetbeam Element E3P, which is my first SS light. I love it very much, it looks very well-built. All the parts you can see, from top to end, is made by pure stainless steel, even the tail forward clickie(only for E3P). Because that it is designed for daily usage and...

Who got their LD01 Stainless Steel?

Yeah I have also seen some reports about flicker on low or automatically jumps from low to high. About 4~5 people have reported this. But also they said the efficiency and output is great. The only thing that I'm wondering is that L01D can use both Li-ion and AAA alkaline, for 10440 is too...

JetBeam Jet III Pro - M or Fenix TK 11

TK11 may be brighter than Jet III Military but less in function. And I have to say Jet III Pro and Jet III Military are two models, and there isn't any torch named "Jet III Pro Military". Jet III Pro IBS has three IBS function solts, while Jet III Military only has one ---- the other is fixed...

New JETBeam Element E3 and E3P

Ya. No IBS, no PD, this is just a simple light, quite simple. The material is stainless steel, E3 uses a Q2 class LED and E3P is a Q5. Only accepts Alkaline or Ni-MH/Ni-Cd, CAN NOT use with Li-ion. I think the reason could be as follow:1, IBS system runs BAD with a single AA, for the...

Got Jet 3 Military today, pics

Yeah I also don't believe what Jetbeam said that this thing would be as bright as 225 lumens, while the LED works at 850mA. So I think this rating may be the Cree's LED brightness rate for they had used a Q5, not the real torch's brightness. But that's not a big problem to me, anyway I think...

Got Jet 3 Military today, pics

More batteries won't increase the brightness, due to Jet3 M will keep driving the LED at 850mA when 2 batteries inserted, and try driving the LED as bright as possible with only 1 battery(of course not greater than 850mA). So double battery, double run-time, but no greater output.
