On some twisty's you can loosen them to the "just off" position, then momentary can be activated by squeezing the the head onto the body, effectively making contact inside the tube. Only really works if there is a little slack in the threads.
I know its a bit premature but just to get the ball rolling, how about this idea for an accessory for the LS. A multi fit tube able to handle at least three battery types (maybe more)and keep most people happy without having to make multiple tubes...
I have the standard Spirit and a letherman juice. The Spirit is of higher quality build, after using my Spirit and a friends Wave I'm sure Iv'e purchased the superior model for my needs.Highly reccomended

I'm guesing the 5 watt setup would get too hot when out of water.
A potential solution to this overheating in plastic bodies and maybe
even metal ones would be to fill the flashlight with some form of
electrically non conductive liquid. Something like a very runny non setting liquid...
