    You can make a sipik 68 tailstand by unscrewing the bezel and using it as a stand. Might as well leave the lens in place to stop you having to look for it later. Perhaps the best application of this would make it easier to give out 'sacrificial' flashlights during a blackout.

    If it's a blackout, and it's still light outside - find your flashlight and batteries while it's really easy. If your flashlight has a step down, and it's been on for a while, turn it off and back on again for more light.

    I've seen usb cables that have been sleeved with the outer fabric of paracord, never thought to make a lanyard with it. Nice idea!

    The wildelk cord is great. I've got cheaper stuff and it's really hard to work with.

    I know it's in the other direction, but what about a gerber recon? The light output might be a bit low, but it might be a fun flashlight for him.

    Used my new zebralight to find some screws I dropped while setting up a chest of drawers from ikea.

    How about including some of those cheap flashlights that are awash on ebay for less than a pound? It could be fun to see a early failure (we might even be surprised... )

    Re: Standing wave of Sapphire 25's + NEW GS I got one for my better half, and got a klarus mi x6 for myself. The sapphire feels amazingly solid in the hand.
