2D revival help

Started this thread in November of 2018 and just got the light fully where I wanted TODAY! After a lot of back and forth I decided to go low output long runtime and plugged in a warm 5mm Yuji led via a bi-pin adapter. Going off of advice from this thread and others, also got an orange peel reflector and glass lens from Kai Domain. This….light….rules. Has the feel of an Incan with a much cleaner beam and a poo-load of runtime on 2 D cells. Beam with the old reflector, which I sanded was super floods and pretty gross. With the new reflector and glass I can dial in a nice hotspot or go floody. Got Dad's old Maglite back in use. 👍🏼

@gurdygurds, is that the Kai MOP or OP?
And, if you got both do you see a difference in performance?
2D beam looks great!

Orange peel and it's the only one I purchased. Very happy with the outcome.
