Thank you for pointing out those mistakes. As I have often mentioned, I usually have at least one hidden somewhere in the review for people to find just for fun!

I do consider the beam a "spot". It has a very smooth transition between the elements of the beam, but it's still a spot with much brighter center, corornal ring and dimmer spillbeam.

Thanks for the great T5 review. I will have to get one when Lighthound gets them in stock. Then I will only have to wait 2 days and not worry about its trip accross the ocean.

I respect Quickbeam's much deserved (semi) retirement... but would LOVE to see a D-mini review. I would gladly lend him mine. While it's battery does not clank or rattle...I do find myself recharging it quite often.
