The brightest currently available on a NiMH is the EagleTac P10A. Second place by an imperceptible margin are both the Nitecore D10 (Q5) and Nitecore DI (Q5). (Stay tuned as the almost-arrived R2 versions of the Nitecores may win out..)
(The brightest all-time on a NiMH is still the discontinued JetBeam Jet I Mk IBS.)
The brightest currently available on a Li-Ion/14500 is the EagleTac P10A, by a sound margin.
