Has anyone seen an old 6P with a smooth boot and totally unmarked tailcap? I know the smooth boot came before the textured boot, but I've never seen an unmarked one. Coating and knurling of the tailcap match the body. Laser Products R60 bulb assembly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

After looking, to determine what the standard tailcap on my 9P was called, I realised that with all the Surefire tailcap switches out there, there is, post after post, looking for this information and nowhere was all this information in the same place. I'm hoping this post will become a sticky...

That may have been a 6R which was a 6P with a removable extension to hold the longer rechargeable battery. They came with R60's, which were 60 lumens instead of 65 in order to provide a wee bit longer run time.
