I received the three MCE's I just ordered. There is a problem with one of them. It looks like the dome is melted or crystalized on one side.

I took a photo of the strip of LEDs before opening the compartment. It was hard to photograph the detail but you should be able to see on the far right compartment a clouding of the edge of the LED.

After removing the LED I took another photo:

The deformed area actually partually covers two of the die inside the dome.

Can I return this MCE for a replacement. If so, I will gladly send PayPal for three more, for you to include the replacement with.

Well I finally got around to replacing the Lux V in my U2. All I know now is this sucker is much brighter!

To bad I lost my highest setting when I was heating the body to removed the head. That red loctite is a PITA!
